EL DORADO

BACKGROUND

The series “El Dorado” draws inspiration from Pre-Hispanic Art found in South America and parts of Central America.

Through Human-Centered Design (HCD), its primary goal is to work in tandem with indigenous communities to create new products featuring innovative designs that safeguard their history and culture.

Highlighted by significant zoomorphic figures, the series aims to celebrate metalwork through textiles, a technique that vanished with the arrival of the Spaniards to the Indias.
